I just purchased a Mustang I V2 amp. Part of the purchase decision was the Fuse software. Upon attempting to use this software, I discovered it was a real PITA--it doesn't get beyond the 'loading' phase. In the future I will include software developed by/for Fender to support their hardware as a negative factor in my purchase decision of Fender products. I am software proficient but this stuff sucks. I spent a couple of hours on it. If I decide I want to work puzzles and not play music, I'll buy a crossword book. LOL, FMIC.
Later...

Hello Alan, welcome to the Forum. There is a Mustang section here, you may find some information about your new amp.

Welcome, RealAlanS.

SBLS is correct in pointing you to the Fuse Forum.

Perhaps, this may help in case you haven’t seen it:

https://support.fender.com/hc/en-us/art ... ps-for-Mac

Have you contacted Fender Support?

https://support.fender.com/hc/en-us

You’ll of course want to include what versions of software you are using, etc. when presenting your questions.

Mustang (I have one) has proven to be Fender’s most popular amp to date and, although it and Fuse have been updated by the GT series, many have had success with Fuse and MAC. I’ll admit Fuse isn’t perfect but it’s pretty darn good and, for it’s time, has done the job. IMHO, all software has it’s pros and cons. The answer is out there.

Note: Microsoft Silverlight has been known to be a concern (some of that concern is flash related). Not to say that this is your problem, but you might want to check all things related to Silverlight as it relates to you. Ya never know.

Best of luck.
Hope this has been of help.

FSB
