Hey, all....I've recently retired and one of my goals is to learn to play the guitar "PROPERLY". I have some musical background having played trumpet for a number of years, and toyed with guitars in high school, but nothing serious until now.................and, Oh Yeah, I'm a lefty.

I have two LH acoustic guitars and a 1976 RH Lado electric, that I played upside down for a year or so, until I found my dream machine. A year ago, I was fortunate enough to buy a preowned LH 2005 MIM 3TSB Stratocaster for $200CDN......a deal no one could resist.........and it's in showroom condition!

Now I'm taking lessons and living on YouTube!

Very exciting times.........and I'm in the process of upgrading my Strat with all new electronics and Vintage Noiseless pups, and plan on picking a few Fender Forum brains as I work my way thru this first upgrade.

Soon as I figure out how, I'll post a picture.

Thanks, guys. My main music interest is old time rock n roll. Trying to get there, 60 minutes at a time.

Old time rock n roll. Cool. That's what started it all. 8)
Rock on, Karic.
