2012 American P bass is great. Maple Sunburst Tortoise.

Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom is great Sunburst, Maple, Black guard.

1959 Jazzmaster. A late year model, Bad repaint and route job. All done almost 4 decades ago. Need new proper scratchplate pickups and wiring as original long gone and some custom humbucker job. Couple weeks I'll have it looking right. Was a burst gonna be oly white
Slab board clay dots Pat pend tremolo no patent decal single line klusons all the bits are there and the neck is not worn as previous owner had it 38 years and seldom played it.

Great introduction, ForFoxSake. From a former Westcoaster to a present Westcoaster, welcome. Nice country in your neck of the woods. Enjoy it here.

ImageThis is how I got the guitar. Previous owner only painted it 38 years ago...wince.... was a burst. the humbucker pickguard ROUTING 4 knob mods were done MORE than 38 years ago. The neck is nice and unmolested tuners frets string tree decal. The tremolo system is the Pat Pending one and the bridge does seem to have a mix of saddles and some filing of string grooves. The neck plate indicates 1959 by all sources and the neck is UNDATED. Of course those in the know know this will be a 59 neck and almost all Fender necks were UNDATED during this year. Because of a swear word found by customer on a neck. By 60 they were dating again. The stock route knob area part does tell me its a late 59 and would and will have a tortoise guard. I will add the wood where the bad routing is and repaint Oly white all I can do. Take pictures as I go along. The sunburst is still there in neck pocket. there is a C in pencil on the back of neck heel. This does have a nice wide nut so I assume this is the ABC marking system here? Jazz basses are A's etc? any way heres a video of me playing it in one of my 5 bands (Bass in 4)

I did not know that. I'd like to know if that neck and guitar still exists. If it has a well known history, I can see added value there. Great rundown of your cool Jazzmaster, Dennis. Hotrodded cars or gear can be a thing of beauty and yours certainly qualifies IMHO. Looking forward to the project.

I tried to run your YouTube video. The link doesn't work as is, and I was going to attempt a fix for ya; but, no go however I tried to locate it. Perhaps, another try, Dennis? Cheers!
