Retired electronics technician in the test and measurement field. Can't carry a tune in a tin bucket, but I thrive on fixing things. I now have a working Acoustasonic Junior after finally finding sturdier output amp transistors replacements for the "left" amp. My original Fender Eighty Five is cruising right along. Gaining exdperience with these, my neighbor's Frontman works now, but it still has popcorn noise from some stressed component. We'll find it. I'll relate my repair observations in the specific amp forums, maybe you will be able to resurrect yours.
