Hey all! Jay here outta Oshawa, aka "the dirty shwa" bout 40 mins east of Toronto. (there is a great trak on youtube bout the dirty shwa if you look for it.) I've been a Les Paul and Marshall kinda guy since I first started playing guitar at 14 . Recently however, I'm now 44, I've been increasingly interested in the Fender sound. I find the Gibson guitar Fender amp sound very appealing, and have recently acquired 2 Fender amps, a Hot Rod Deluxe USA model, and a Hot Rod Deville 4x10 Brown toilex, wheat grill made in Mexico. Both are amazing amps and have their own, and yet the classic fender tone all at the same time. I'll be posting a question about the Deville in the amp section. I've been lurking here for some time . So there you have it! Cheers! 8)

Hello, Jay. Good to have you in the Fender camp with your Gibby.

The first time I and two buddies visited Ottawa we t-boned a car which ignored a stop sign on the highway coming into town. One of the guys rolled off our back seat and ended in hospital with broken ribs, and the driver and I had minor injuries. The only reason I bring this up is because everyone we met on our unexpected layover went out of their way to make sure that our first impression of Ottawa was a positive one. It may be called the Dirty Shwa; but, it left a great lasting impression.

That said, have some great times here in the Forum with another great gang. :D
