These 2 videos are followups to my series of videos on 1970s era Stratocasters.
My goal here is to educate buyers so when they purchase an American Std Strat, they know what to look for. These vidoes are not all encompassing, but give the buyer a pretty good look at these late '80s and '90s Strats.

Before you buy, do your homework. This means getting on line or reading books and looking at lots of photos.

One of the reasons I chose the Stratocaster in this video was that it built durring a period when Fender was doing vaneer tops and backs for their Am. Std. Strats. Though this Stratocaster has been slightly modified, most of it is original and worth checking out.

Keep in mind that I am not an expert, or claim to be one. I do have over 20 years of experience handling and learning about these guitars, so don't shoot me if I miss something. I hope this helps anyone looking at purchasing these guitars.
