I have a Mustang IV amp that I bought new last year. I keep getting a 60 Hz hum through it constantly. As soon as I plug my Casino in, or the computer in the Aux jack it hums. I am plugged straight into the wall. It is about to drive me nuts!! Actually its not a drive to get me to nuts, it's more of a gimme putt. I use the amp in a 12X10 room. TIA for any hints, help, or suggestions to resolve this issue.

Did you have hum with not guitar , nothing plug in the amp ?

If not. it could be your guitar bad ground or electrical interference ; cel phone , PC , hallogen or neon lamps ....
Bad ground on house outlet ....

Unplug everything on your home and listen , try on another room or house

Have you adjusted the noise gate? In Fuse, it is under the advanced amp tab. Some guitarists are not fans of the noise gate, but I have it tweaked in on each and every preset I use. The setting varies from amp model to amp model.

FYI: Try going to the Mustang forum, you will get more and faster responses for your amp there.

It's possible that the ground wire under your bridge is no longer making good contact.and that you're getting RFI from your computer.
Does the hum become less bad when you move away from the computer?

Also, you may want to plug all the gear involved into the same outlet / powerstrip / surge protector / UPS.

Have you tried different instrument cables.
Bad cables can cause that issue.

Sorry for the disappearing act since November. I had been working two jobs, making my week 7 days 14 hours per day, plus two hours transit between home and work per day. As of 15 January 2015, I now have one job, but it is 80 hours per week minimum. But we will be debt free in the near future and will be able to slack of some. Only about four years left of this pace. "The debtor is the slave of the lender" is so true. :( Thank you for the replies, but I still have not been able to eliminate the buzz except through raising the noise gate. In full disclosure I had not had a opportunity try every suggestion here yet. I haven't even had a chance to move the rig out of the room with the computer to if that is the problem.

Widower, are you talking about the wire under the guitar bridge or is there another bridge in the electronics that I am unaware about? Thank you though for the reply.

I am off this afternoon to travel out of state for a week of training/orientation/ assimilation  for my job. I will try to check in more often, though I will be away this week. Thank you to every who replied in an effort to help this newbie out. :D

Yes, the guitar's bridge.
There's a wire (usually yellow) that goes from the control cavity to a hole
under the bridge.

Over time, the wire embeds in the wood and
in some cases, it causes the wire to lose good contact with the bridge.
The bridge is where everything on the guitar grounds to.
Unless you had a guitar with active pickups, then the ground is the battery.

You really should check it out with a few different guitar cords also.

And yes, moving it away from the computer would definitely make a difference.

Cheers!

Your problem could be a ground loop problem. That's when there is more than one ground in your rig.

1. Make sure you have no pedals plugged into the amp

2. If possible, try a different guitar

3. As previously stated, use a different wire

4. Try a different room or if possible, a different house. See if the hum follows.

5. If you find it's a problem with your house wiring and it's not something you can fix, use a good high quality UPS. It will isolate you from the house electric circuit. On the down side, they are expensive and heavy.
