Joshua, Seeing that you mentioned about selling your Mustang for $120.00 ? I'm guessing you're on a low budget then right ? IMO, your best bet would be to get either a new Fender Frontman 25R , which sells for $99.99 , or go to WWW.GuitarCenter.com and click on their used gear section and hit amps. From their , hit nationwide and type in exactly what you can afford and from there, you'll see a wide array of used amps for sale. In the past , I've seen some Fender Frontman 65 R used combos going for around the $100.00 range and with usually a extra $15.00 or so for shipping.

Some small tube amps might be right for the OP. Vox Lil' Night Train, Mooer Little Monster, Palmer Eins. All these - and there are plenty more brands - take pedals willingly.
I'm deliberately talking about amp heads, IMHO the big problem with little combos is the stock speaker.

And just to point out how opinions differ - I'd prefer a Mustang over a Frontman any day.

Are you...
1) Only playing at home for yourself?
2) Home and time to time playing with friends?
3) Recording?
4) Hope to use it for Gigs at some point?
5) I am in a band now and need it to gig.

I will ASSUME you are a home player and maybe wanting to record.

If so, I would suggest one of the following.
1) Fender Excelsior Pro.
2) Peavey Delta blues 210

I didn't know people where still responding to this, thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
I mainly play by myself and in front of friends, but I don't have any friends that play. I definitely want to record, I want to make youtube videos when I get good enough. And if I get enough attention and have to play somewhere, yes, I want to use it for gigs. But I'm not in a band now.

This post was very helpful, thank you!
