I have downloaded some Fuse settings for my Mustang IV. On each of the settings, when I use the sounds ...they are distorted.....my performance volume is at 4 ....any input...I would love to use the settings but can't stand the distortion

1. Open (edit) the patch in Fender Fuse
2. Turn the GAIN control down until it cleans up

Some models clean up better than others. The Supersonic model is hard to get a clean out of. If you want a guaranteed clean sound, try the Princeton model and turn the GAIN all the way down. If it still sounds distorted, you have other issues.

One other thing that might cause this issue: do you have active pickups like EMG that have a 9v battery? If so, put in a fresh battery.

Thanks for the input ( no joke intended). The suggestion of lowering the gain on the samples being loaded makes sense....except...the samples aren't distorted....I listened to them first before loading.....I will go back and try though

how did you go about that? I was not aware you could hear a sample before downloading.

Or do you mean, you opened the preset(s) from within Fender FUSE but did not save them to the amp? And then when you save the preset onto the amp, it's at that point that distortion is introduced?
