Hi all
since I'm new in guitar world I thought someone from forum can help me.
Now when I resolve intonation problem I have problem with saddles (bridge) what I mean is
that A string on 5th and 12th field (thread) I have some noise like metal scraping but only on this 5 & 12 thread
and I find on internet that in this case I must lift up saddles and I did noise is disappear but not this A wire is
higher then all other wires.
I saw some movie on web but I'm new in all this is any tool that can be buy to fix my problem (I also try new
wires) is there any standard measure (values) which I can use to compare with my measure form neck to top
of wire for each wire.
(if is possible contact me on mail: boris.teskera@yahoo.com)

Thanks & Regards
Boris

Have your guitar checked by a competent guitar tech.
It sounds like you may have a couple of "proud" frets.

Yes! Good advice.

Having an experienced guitar tech do at least your initial setup to your satisfaction will be very beneficial. That is not it to say that you won’t be able to learn from it, or do your own setup later on; but, it will correct problems preventing you from being able to optimize your setup as desired. It really shouldn't cost much and is definitely worth the effort. Sometimes one problem can have more than one related cause and you’ll want to address that if need be before considering other measurements.

Can you do without the experienced tech? Possibly. However, even the top musicians use experience to get the best out of their guitars.

Tip: Tell him or her how you intend to use the guitar, and discuss what to expect. That is an important matter often omitted. The idea is to get the guitar to do what you want, not necessarily how the tech would have his guitar setup for his playing style, unless of course you prefer that.

Best of luck, Boris.

I only read the thread title, but pretty sure I know where you're going with. The optimal height is most comfortable for yourself AND the horse. See illustration below.

with extreme adjustments like this you will totally offset your intonation.
assuming is was even right to begin with.
