Possibly someone may have what type problem the amp has based on the symptom.
Yesterday, turned on the amp. There was a low volume hiss. (first time ever) .

Was practicing about an hour. Then the music stopped, then hum, then static & crackle. There was a smell of electrical burning . Then nothing. I sense it is more than a tube. I'm just wondering if I could push back for a new amp instead of repair.

The amp is still in the manufacturer's warranty- less than three month old.

It sounds drastic, take it to a Fender repair shop. If you did not change anything like tubes Fender will be happy to repair it.

Definitely a warranty job. Burning smells not good - all amps (and most electrics) work because of magic smoke; if you let the smoke then out the amp stops working.

SC is repaired. Pre-amp tube burned out. Another tube on it's way out. Tubes replaced with JJs.
The sound is a bit cleaner, brighter. I'll try it out a couple hours today to see how it works.

Something caused the tubes change. The tech did bias the amp and tubes. Maybe that tweaking is all it needs.

The burning smell was probably from an overheated plate resistor or screen grid resistor. It must have survived because it still works..
But these film resistors are prone to changing their value if they are severely overheated. Any discolored resistors should be changed out before your warranty is up.
