Yep it was a mistake to sell it. And I do miss the portability of the thing. I did replace it with an Egnater Tweaker 15 head and some pedals, all plugged into one of my EVM12L 1-12 open back speaker cabs, and the tone is excellent. But it is now a 2 trip to the car and back to the car item with amp and pedal board on one trip and guitar and speaker cab on the second trip.

The SCX2 was only one trip, amp in one hand and guitar in the other hand. I shouldn't have sold it truthfully. (although the Tweaker for the tones I use sound better (to my ears) quite a bit more toneful, smoother on the overdrives using a tube distortion stomp and digital reverb pedal). And the Tweaker/EVM12L is a whole bunch louder somehow, it will hold up to a full band with a loud drummer easily. Kinda Deluxe Reverb loud.

But the whole mess is way heavier weight wise. So in conclusion I miss the SCX2/Lil Buddy

I thought about it, and if I traveled on the road more often I would, but I am well settled in my little home here in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, and don't really leave that often. The amp I went to (Egnater Tweaker 15) is way more capable for the tones I use. Much better tone, a bunch more pro sounding to my ears, so I ain't quite that "poor poor man" but I do miss the portability of the SCX2 (a little)

LOL! This whole thread pretty much contradicts itself.

I too miss my SCX2...but only because I don't have it yet.
Cabinet ships early though...was supposed to ship Feb. 3rd...but ships out today, should have it by the end of the week. Head has moved up a day too from Feb. 9th. to 8th....hopefully it comes in even earlier.

I'll tell you this much though; I don't mind a few trips to the truck...I'll grab whatever I can in each trip until it's all unloaded/loaded. I'm 50 years old, been lugging equipment for 35 years. Nothing but a thing.
