Most of the presets and backing tracks can no longer be "found" when FUSE is loaded, and the amp up and running. I am able to log on and access the backing tracks from "the web" but seem to have lost whatever was originally stored on the amp. Any way to put them back ? olo, I'm using the Passport mini amp now, which works great, nothing "missing", but, I'd like to get the Super Champ X2 back the way it was before "I think I did something bad", but, I really don't know what I did to make it the way it presently is. Everything works OK from the amps control knobs, all the digital settings...but from FUSE...well, not so well.

Did you save the presets to the amp, as well as to your computer?

Most likely no. I'm still learning, the hard way, how these "FUSE" amps work. If I did "lose" them, can they be re-installed from another "V2" FUSE amp like the Passport Mini, Mustang Mini or Mustang III, V2 ? or should I just get a Line 6 and be done with it ? lol

thanks...

Read the Fuze manual available at Fender, the SCX2 presets are not compatible with the Mustang series presets. Learn Fuze by doing, it won't hurt the amp and you can reset it to factory default with one of the button combinations (instructions in the Fuze manual are easy and clear to read/understand). Give that a shot.

I have done line 6 stuff myself, and it is actually harder to understand than the Fuze ideas. Just study the manual and the program, experiment with things and when you get something you like, save it to the amp, no matter what, there is always a way back to the factory presets. So have a go and don't worry about it. Save each preset individually when you have Fuze up before moving on to modify the other presets.

I followed the "factory reset" instructions by turning on the machine, and holding the reset button down for 4 seconds , approximate. After doing just that, the tap button light just keeps on blinking, rather rapidly, and does not turn off, after several minutes...Any further suggestions ? Thanks all.

Not much in the manual, the reset to factory settings instructions seem rather simple and straight forward...what am I missing here ? Again, much thanks all.

Can't help with the reset thing, I never did it myself. I just knew it was there.

It sounds like you properly reset the amp. Put the effects select knob to the off position and check the tap LED. It may be set for an effect that would cause it to flash.

I've noticed some of your posts in the Mustang forum as well. Fuse works a bit different for the Mustang vs the Super Champ. Your best bet is to spend some time reading the manual and then play around with both Fuse and the amp. As others have said, you really can't break anything.

Hi Crust,

I have the same issue with the Mustang 1, I cannot get the Tap button to stop blinking. Did you find a solution to this problem?

Thank You, Paul
