I have a 2011 MIM Strat Standard that, in my mind, has little to poor sustain. Doing research on how to improve the guitar itself (e.g. set-up, new nut, SS block, etc.). That is independent of what I am asking for on this forum. However, it might make sense to get the guitar set-up properly to see if I can get more sustain, before addressing the amp.

Is there a setting that might work best on my SC, besides cranking the gain? That has helped a bit, but any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

For my Strat type guitar I use a boss blues driver in front of the amp input, I add a little gain and then boost the output up to the power of a humbucking pickup.

If you are using a Super Champ X2 there are many ways to get the same thing on channel 2 with Fender Fuze software.
