I'm a French guitar player, so be conciliating with my english grammar !
Several years ago I've bought a Superchamp XD combo, and I was amazed with this amp
who allow me to play without effects pedals and a lot of stuff, with a great quality of
sounds and others, so I want also the same amp to poxer my 2*12 cab mesa engineering
to play in clubs. So I've sold my Vox AC30 Head to buy a Superchamp X2 Head, and,
Surprise, It doesn't sound as well as the XD
Is it possible to change the sounds with Fender fuse ? but I'm a guitar player, not
a computer scientist, so ,please, tell me the easier way to change the sounds to have the same that the XD voice.
Do you think Fender can do the same amp with much power ? ( 60 or 100w )

Hi lechonvit,

Thanks for your post. And no worries about you're English. Unfortunately, it is not possible to move settings directly from the Fender® Super Champ™ XD to the X2. However, the Super Champ X2 is easily edited with the Fender FUSE™ software. You may want to consider downloading and installing Fender FUSE. I have included download links below.

Once you have installed Fender FUSE, launch it and connect your amp with the supplied USB cable. When using Fender FUSE, you will notice two tabs in the upper right corner of the application window. One is the 'Save Ch.2 Voice' tab and the other is the 'Save FX' tab. When you make edits to the amp model, you can save this (including Stomp effects, if used) using the 'Save Ch.2 Voice' tab. When you make edits to the effects (other than Stomp), you can use the 'Save FX' tab to save your effects.

Please check this out. And let me know if I can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan

I have an X2 combo, and have never played an XD, but most people say the two amps sound very similar. Since you're using a non-Fender speaker cabinet, that may be the difference you're hearing. With the FUSE software, you can try different cabinet settings. That might solve your problem.

Hi pdawg,

Thanks very kindly for your post. That is a great suggestion and may get closer to the Fender® Super Champ™ XD tones. Please let us know if we can offer any further assistance from our end guys.

Best Regards,

Alan
