There's a brand new Super Champ X2 headed my way. Should arrive next week, and I can't wait. I've read too many good things about this amp to not own one!

I like mine, not as much as my Hot Rod Deluxe, but it is still a nice grab and go amp. Light, capable, on board effects, channel switching, and you can tweak it in Fuze.

Thanks dbm. I'm getting back into guitar after an almost 30 year break. I have a Mustang 1, which is a really cool little amp and a lot of amp for the money. But my last two amps were a 1965 Princeton Reverb and a 1968 Pro-Reverb, both bought brand new. There's just something about tubes. From reading your's and Modwiz's posts about the SC, I think I'll be happy with it. A much nicer tone than the Mustang.

Congrats on the new purchase... they're awesome amps and a fantastic value. I once owed a Mustang III and the SCX2 is hands down a better amp as far as build quality and tone. You'll love it!

Join the club. It's a fine little amp.

Wow, this amp is SWEET!! I've been playing mostly voice 7, or channel 1 with a bit of reverb. The sound is just like I remember my '68 Pro-Reverb sounding (too many years ago). Also spent some time on voice 12, not my typical sound, but a lot of fun. No regrets on buying this one!

Only wish they had built in a tuner, like on the Mustang.

Glad you're enjoying it! I've been playing mine also this past week. I'm getting all packed up to move so my Mesa MkV and all my effects are buried. I've just been playing my strat straight through channel one with some reverb... I need to reacquaint myself with some of the presets on Ch2. It's an awesome little amp... that's great that your happy with the purchase, cheers.

I find it to be a nice little grab and go amp. Very nice for the bucks. I use only a few of the settings on it. I use the super sonic model (13 on channel 2) for overdrive/distortion with reverb and the clean channel with reverb, no other effects. I tweaked the super sonic model quite a bit in Fuze. It does everything I need so far.

If I was going out to play out however, it would have to be my Hot Rod Deluxe with C-Rex and JJ tubes, the sweetest amp I have ever owned. But the SCX2 is great for road visits to family and in house jams.
