Last week I got my X2 combo and played the first show this weekend. The amp looks and sounds beautifully!!! One little issue I discovered though, during loading and unloading the gear with the rest of the band. The internal speaker connector is slightly longer so that he emerges fron the back-wall plane of the amp. It is only a couple of milimeters but when you slide the amp next to something, this connector is the first thing that gets it. I think this is a unnecessary damage risk and there should be no problem to make the comnector a tiny bit shorter. To unplugg the speaker each time when moving the amp is not an option for me since I don't want to risk turning it on and than cry over my fried amp, because I forgot to plug the speaker back on :-)

Hi,
it is the one which comes with the amp (see Image). I cannot find any picture where the amp is seen from the top or from the side to illustrate the problem I mentioned, but I think you get the idea.

The Switchraft right angle Plug part no 228 will do the job IMO

Just 7/16 thick ( 1 5/8 - 1 3/16 )

Don't buy import parts , many are very cheap

I'm sure it would, and thanks for your tips! But to be honest, I just bought a brand new amp and the last thing I want to do is to start repairing it. This is obviously a design error (minor, but it is). I just thought that Fender would put a little more thoughts in "the little things".
