Well the tolex and grill cloth should be here this week so I need to get the speakers figured out pretty soon.

Has anyone worked with the folks at Tone Tubby? They seem to specialize in hemp cone speakers and I was thinking I would give them a call next.

So many options, almost overwhelming

So I ordered a pair of the Low Watt Tone Tubby speakers, one Alnico and one ceramic. That should give me a good jumping off point.

My next big question is, what glue to use for the tolex. This is supposed to be the exact same material that Fender uses for the blond SCX2 combos.

Anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks,
-Harry

Thought I would drop a couple of update pictures. The speaker is pretty much done, I am still waiting on a set of casters to show up and believe it or not I need a speaker cable to go from the amp to the cabinet! Soon as I am done puppy sitting I will run out and get them.

So here is a corner after routing and sanding:

And the finished project. Wish my lighting was better, the colors and textures of the cabinet match the Super Champ perfectly.

And one of the back:

I will post some sound samples in a few days.
