Hi guys,

I have a problem with my Super Champ X2 HD, it seems that the USB port is broken so I can no longer use Fender Fuse. I don't really know what's happened, I wanted to plug the amp into my computer then I realized that the port was not in its place.

Anyway I don't know how to open the amp to fix this, anyone has a step by step guide?

Read the following pages they are about BIASING the Super Champ series of amps and they tell you how to remove the amp from the cabinet safely and from there it is just a matter of looking at the USB port and fixing it. Or you can take the amp to an authorized Fender repair shop in your area, it is guaranteed for 5 years from date of purchase.

Hi Corentin64,

We will be happy to assist. It seems that desertbluesman offered some great advice, thanks desertbluesman:) We recommend you bring your Fender® Super Champ™ X2 in to a Service Center and have them change the USB port for you. If you perform this step on your own you will void your warranty. Please see link below to locate a Service Center closest to you. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Thanks for your replies, but I don't live in the USA then I can't bring my amp to a Service Center. I think i'll give the task to a music shop. Thank you for your help and sorry for my bad english.

Can you get it to the music shop that you bought it from? If they are authorized dealers then they can assist you I would guess. If you got it from an on line store they will usually take it back and give you a new one, and usually pay for the shipping both ways. If you got it locally, problem solved take it to them if they are authorized Fender dealers, they will handle it for you.

Hi Corentin64,

Depending on when you purchased your amplifier, you might still be under warranty in your country. Just as desertbluesman suggested, I would recommend you contact your dealer to see fi they can offer some assistance. Please let us know if we can assist further.
