What a great little amp! It does everything I could ask for in a practice amp and then some.
Combined with Fender's Fuse software you can pretty much get any sound you want within
the confines of 16 Watts and a 10" speaker!
I also have the foot switch for quick channel/effect changes.
A couple of observations though.
The first is that to my ears and music style P90 and Humbucking equipped guitars sound
'better' than single coil Strats or Teles. But to each his (or her) own on that one.
And secondly a must do is to install a set of 14" Fender tilt back legs. I wish they made
a 12" version but the 14" fit with about a 1/4" to spare top and bottom! The 'swing' bolts clear
the chassis inside so installation is relatively easy.
With the amp on a tilt it's a whole different animal, I love it. Sure a chair is an obvious
solution but somehow it just isn't the same.

Can you post a pic with the legs attached? I have mine on a stand in the studio, but would like to see the legs for when I play out.

Thanks,
Harry

Happy to oblige, but Photobucket is blocked at work so I'll try later tonight.
I gotta say they are a tight fit height wise but they are slightly shorter so
there is just enough clearance top and bottom. Having the amp tilted, at least
in a practice environment, makes a world of difference.
I was thinking of cutting them down but my hacksaw didn't even make a dent and
I thought grinding them down would blue the chrome, because of the heat.

I love my SCX2 too, and I can't wait to see those pictures.

I'm considering a stand - hadn't thought of legs, but agree that I'd like to see pics.

My amp doesn't have to be portable as I just use it at home. And I like the idea of getting it up off the floor a little - with just enough tilt to make the controls a little easier to use. Anybody have any preferences or experience on inexpensive (yet sturdy) stands?
