I'm noticing some issues with my SCX2 combo on some of the non-Fender voices on Channel 2, and I was wondering if anyone else has also noticed these.

Voices 11 & 12: both have static hiss if you use the emulated output.
Voice 13: brittle distortion, almost to the point of making it unusable.

I've tried using EQ and reverb, but nothing helps much.

I have had no such trouble Wolf, channel 13 is a Fender Super Sonic model and I have used that as my overdrive setting from day one. I suggest that you change the speaker cab to the Twin 2-12 cab in Fuze, that helped quite a lot. I also turn my treble knob all the way down to 3 and the bass on 2. That is the setting that works for me even on the clean channel. I turned the Mid down to about 5 for the clean channel in Fuze also. Also update the firmware in Fuze also.

And find out how to reset the amp in the product manual, maybe the presets have been corrupted, so before you do anything, reset the amp to factory default, then make the changes I suggested above.

Good luck....

Thanks DBM, I appreciate the input. I'll try those suggestions and get back to you. Have you used the emulated output to record?

No I never use an emulated anything. I stick a SM57 in front of the rim of the speaker, use headphones and blast away at lower volumes. The SCX2 is awesome sounding when recorded that way. Go to my soundclick page http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... tent=music and listen to beer Thirty Blues that is both channels of my SCX2 miked up.

Great blues, man 8) , and great tone. I liked your cover of Hey Joe, too. You're right about your niece, she does have a phenomenal voice.

As for my amp, I haven't messed with the Supersonic voice any more. I think I'm playing with a lot more gain than you are. But I discovered Voice 10 this weekend. I turned the gain up to 8, turned off the compressor, and oooooh babies...vintage dirt heaven. And it loves reverb, too. 8)
