Two pages of X2 Presets on Fender's website. That's it - TWO paltry pages, with the last preset dated October, 2012.

Strange, given the growing popularity of this amp.

Not finding presets I was looking for, I decided to create my own and upload them.

Fender says to do it this way:

"To upload a Preset to the Fender FUSE Community follow these steps:

1. In Fender FUSE, click on the Media Library button.
2. Once in the Media Library, click on the Computer Tab. Be sure you are clicking the Computer tab in the Media Library and not the Computer button in the search area.
3. Locate the Preset you want to upload in the list of Presets. Right-click on that Preset and you'll be presented with the option to upload. Click Upload.
4. You should receive a message informing you that your Preset has been successfully uploaded to the Fender FUSE Community."

But here's the problem I encountered.

In the Media Library, when I go to my preset and right-click, THERE IS NO OPTION TO UPLOAD. Only "Load Preset" and "Delete Preset".

That to my mind is a very sound explanation for why there does not appear to be any new presets showing up in the community.

Am I the only one to draw this conclusion and experience this issue?

Maybe I'm missing something...

I'm using FUSE 2.60

Hi instep97,

Thanks for your feedback here. To answer your first question, the Fender SuperChamp X2 has a different layout than the other Fender FUSE-connected products in the area of Presets and saving/loading them. You absolutely can create Presets for your SuperChamp X2. And they can be loaded inside of Fender FUSE while the amp is connected to the computer.

However, the SuperChamp X2 is set up to primarily have the user access the Voice and FX settings rather than the Preset file as with other Fender FUSE-connected products. So, when you load a standard Preset file, you have to have the amp connected to the PC, and you need (in any case) to manually set the Gain, Volume, Treble and Bass.

So, when you use the Voice and FX locations on the amp to save to (save Voice and FX isfound in Fender FUSE in the upper right corner of the Preset Editor screen), you can access those saved Voices and FX chains when the amp is connected to the PC and when the amp is being used stand-alone.

Regarding the Preset upload concern, you need to be logged into the Fender FUSE Community to see the upload option show as an option. Please let us know if we can assist further.
