Okay, here's the deal.

I've created two FUSE presets. Both are quite distinct from one another.

Preset #1 is based on The Shadows Apache tone, with huge rack delay and lots of rack reverb.

Preset #2 is my Blues-Rock setting, to play SRV and Clapton type stuff (stomp box effects - bit of reverb with some chorus and gain).

Anyhow, this weird thing happened to me last night (several times).

I was wailing away on Preset #2 at a pretty high volume (amp was pretty hot), when all of a sudden, out of nowhere comes this MASSIVE large hall reverb and delay. Only way at first to fix it was to go back to Preset #1, then switch back to Preset #2. This worked until the end of the night when finally, that didn't even work and I was stuck with the MASSIVE large hall reverb permanently.

Tonight (after a Firmware update), that MASSIVE large hall reverb is still present on my Blues-Rock preset. Only by turning off all the stomp boxes was I able to get rid of it.

I suppose I'll have to delete that preset and make a new one.

Still curious to know what the heck happened though. FUSE issue? Amp issue?

Discuss please.

Never had any issues show up on mine. What is the recipe for the Surf tone you are using, amp model and assume large hall reverb? Settings?

thanks

Hi instep97,

We will be happy to assist. As we were looking at your topic, it stated SuperChampXD, however since you are connecting to Fender FUSE software, we assume that you might be referring to the SuperChampX2? Either way, It sounds like you are experiencing some unusual behavior with your amp, and it would be helpful to us if you could contact us directly (see contact below) and include your name, this forum post and a phone number so we can offer some more personalized assistance. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
