Hi there!
Very proud of this amp, that really sounds fantastic!
Is there any problem if I connect from Line Out to Guitar In to a Frontman 25R? Speaking about the older version of Frontman, (Made in Mexico) with black metal grill on the face...
If I turn to maximum the volume on SCX2, would that destroy the other Amp? On clean or on second channel?
If so, is there another way to get SCX2 tone through louder power from 25R?
Thank you...

Hi. The superchamp x2 line out works extremely well with other amps IMO. I have a tech 21 power engine 60 that i use for supplemental volume in live situations and it works great. \you can hear it in action in a thread i posted called gigging with the superchamp x2. i imagine it would work equally well with a PA system or the the like. if you are jacking in to another conventional guitar amp i recommend plugging in to the power amp in or effects return section so as not to color your superchamp tones too much. Also the line out signal volume is linked to the volume knob on the amp so if you plug into the front end of a guitar amp you will likely add a lot of extra preamp stage distortion. might find some fun accidental dirty sounds but might also be bad. all in the ear i guess. hope this helped.
cheers

Right, this is the ideea! I don't have another In on Frontman, except the Guitar In, so I wonder if it's possible to destroy the preamp on this amp, if Line Out from SCX2 offers too much current, when I turn it to max? I really don't know how much current is SCX2 able to give on maximum volume? Would it kill another amp's Guitar In? If so, I need to avoid this ideea, or to mod a Power In on Frontman 25R.
Anyone from Fender might have a precise answer for my problem???
Would really appreciate it...

Hi. Sorry for jumping the gun I should have read that a little better. I don't think you'll ruin the amp but the line out is def hotter than guitar input. It will add a lot of gain. You would probly be best off running a small mixer in between them and controlling the level in that way. I guess see what fender says. Good luck!

Indeed so, that;s what I think as well. So I do wait for an answer from Fender, if possible...
