hi folks,

i.m thinking of getting the scx2 and i.ve read that fender
doesn.t include the usb. is there a specific size usb thing i need?
i really don.t know how they are sold. most things that need them come with the appropriate
cable. figure i could get it while i.m waiting for the amp. thanks for your help!

i.m planning on using this amp at the local v.a. nursing home this winter and
also at some small outdoor things next summer. like farmer.s markets etc. i.m assuming the sc
would be a good fit. oh yeah...i play a squire tele and a gretsch archtop
....any opinions welcome!

Just ordered an X2 combo last night, it should arrive on Wednesday. Sold my XD this past Sunday. I can't tell from the manual on line, looks like a mini or micro on the X2 to a type A on the pc side is what you'll need. I'd advise not spending a lot of money. Check Staples or Walmart. Also get a length you can live with depending on how you set up either at home or when playing out. Dragging a laptop along with all your other equipment gets old. I used to do that with my digitech 225 on the off chance I wanted to edit a patch. Never happened.

Hi guys,

So, the type of USB cable that you need is a standard A to mini B. And the cable should be included with your amp as a new product. If you are purchasing or purchased a new amp in the box, you should receive a USB cable. If you do not receive one, please contact out Consumer Relations folks at the phone number listed below. And they can assist you with that.
