Is anyone using a net book with FUSE on it? It seems to me that it would be a great combination because the net book would fit in the back of the cab for transport and be relatively unobtrusive when you get where you are going.

I ask this because I've been spoiled to the edibility of the Mustang Floor at performances and when I go to a buddies house, it would be nice to not have to haul my giant 17" ROG laptop along just so I can tweak the presets on the spot in the SCX2.

We have an old net book that has a full hard drive and isn't getting used. I'm wondering if it is worth resurrecting strictly as a portable FUSE interface?

Does FUSE perform well on tired old computers or does it need something snappy?

Would the small screen create any problems?

Of course, an interface link between the Mustang Floor and the SCX2 would be the perfect solution to on the road preset editing.

hey there

i don.t currently own a scx2 but am thinking of getting one.
so i downloaded the fuse software to my hp netbook...i think it
has a ten inch screen. when i compare my screen to the manual
the botton gets cut off. i can only add two post amp effects and
cannot see the community or other buttons on the bottom.

the prog. seems to run fine but again...its not hooked up to an amp.

hope that helps.

while i.m here..do you think the scx2 would be good for solo gigs...i plan
on playing some nursing homes this winter an some small outdoor stuff next
summer. prolly pair it with a small acoustic amp for vocals.

any suggestions? thanks and glad u enjoying your amp.

cheers

Based on the link below it will run on an old pc. The sticking point I see is you will need at min a display resolution of 1024 X 768 from you net book in order to see the whole application on your screen.

Just sold my XD to a friend for what I paid for it last January. My new blonde x2 combo arrives Tuesday....sweet. I also have an old laptop that I use to record with that will handle fuse easily.

More to follow.
