Howdy. Here is my first attempt at a sample vid. Its just using the onboard mic fro m the laptop sooo... I tried to get a really dirty nasty fuzzy sound for kicks. Its the twin reverb model with the fuzzwah pedal from fuze in the front. and im usingv the ever i mpressive mainstreet guitars nocaster! i proudly show off the headstock somewheres in there. please excuse all the flubs. I tried to do lots of different stuff for a variety of samples. anyways nuff said.

Here's a video I made this morning using the Twin setting. The lead track may have benefited from being a touch louder, oh well, no biggie. Enjoy...

I finally have recording the Super Champ X2 in HD video with the Canon 7D and mic'd audio through the Mac sort of figured out. Below is a short clip.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGerXq70 ... ata_player

And here is a demo of all of the presets with an AC/DC riff

http://youtu.be/NtjHdGufPQ0

The channels, amp and guitar are all completely stock except for a couple screws holding the speaker board a little more securely to the cabinet.

What up folks...

Here's another for ya... this one recorded on channel 1 and using some effects. A Line6 M5 Stompbox Modeler (set to analog delay) and a Keeley Mod Boss Metal Zone... non-metal heads fear not, this is an example of how sweet the MT-2 can be for rock OD/Distortion. It's a pretty versatile pedal despite the name... the EQ is super flexible.

This is also the debut video of the new "red rocker" I just rewired this strat and gave it a facelift with a new black guard, a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position and a few toggle switches. One is a "neck on" switch so it can be added to just the bridge or to have all three pups on, and the other splits the humbucker so you can run it as a single coil (which sounds fantastic but for this video the humbucker is running full force)

There have been some questions regarding how the SCX2 handles effects... IMO, great! I do notice that they work best when adding them to a relatively clean preset (minimal gain) or on channel 1. Perhaps if I would experiment more they would work well on the other presets too but I play mostly cleaner stuff so haven't invested much time in it.

Anyhow, enjoy the video! http://youtu.be/MfcCodQ94Fg

Jamguy,

I like your mellow sounds but I'm having a hard time streaming past 38 seconds or so.

No worries... my girlfriend heard this one and said "it just goes on and on..." I have to confess, all of my jam vids are pretty much me noodling around, sometimes they develop into something more exciting and something... well, they just go on and on  Thanks for listening anyhow and feedback is always appreciated, cheers.

Here's another... man, I felt like I was closing in on the perfect tone (the one I'd like to be able to dial in at will) The Champ/ LP Special P90 combo sounds amazing (to my ears). This one was again on Channel 1.

Thanks for watching and as always, feedback is welcome! Cheers.

There are starting to be a lot of good SCX2 video's. Keep it up!

Are those P90's in the Les Paul?

I've seen several questions and even received one directly on YouTube about multiple effects at the same time using Fender Fuse and the Super Champ X2 so I made a video showing that you CAN have up to four effects at the same time.

I really like the background track. I've come close to getting an SG a couple times but always end up backing out.

This is my first shot at recording using the line out. There are a couple times were we overdrove the preamp but overall it turned out nicely.

Interesting attempt Tribrach! Say hello to your daughter!!

My daughter also use the SCX2 with an analog electric piano (of Wurlitzer type).
To add some warmer overdriven feeling, I recorded thru ordinary tube-speaker circuit.

Also recently my son has done a street guitar performance with it. I don't know which voice and effect he chose. Anyway he loves this amp's simplicity and tone variety.

My son AOTO SETO played Shadows' Telstar with SCX2

Here's my latest... a snippet of the jam in the Dead's Estimated Prophet. The effects are not from the amp (aside from 'verb). I'm using an Emma Discumbobulator (envelope filter) a Maxon Rotary Phaser, and a Keeley Mod TS-9 to nail the "Jerry Tone"... of course, to have his playing skills would really make it but hey, I'm willing to settle with what I've got. :)

I had to go out and get a looper after watching all of JamGuy's video's and have had a blast.

Below is a cover of Sing Hallelujah to the Lord that I recorded completely in the looper then recorded into Garage Band using the SCX2 USB interface.

http://youtu.be/rt5AnfqPl9Q

It is several takes into the looper, but all played back through the amp and recorded in one shot.

I'll tell you what, my Boss loop station is probably the most used piece of gear I have... I'l like to know how many loops I've made with it. They are really fun if you don't always have someone to jam with... glad you're enjoying it. I'm going to check out your vid soon... need to get crackin' on some work first! Cheers.
