Just as a resource, I wanted to post links to a couple of really great youtube vids of the X2. Both of these are well done and give a decent overview of the amp:

The first one is in German. But the playing speaks for itself...

This is a great overview

I took a quick video of the mustang floor plugged into a SCX2 and the line out of the SCXD going into the SCXD.

I just got a cable to split the signal between the combo and cabinet speaker. It is a very fat sound with three speakers and two amps. I'll post another video when I get a chance.

Thanks for the kind words!

The iPhone is what I used to record the video I posted. I didn't expect it to turn out but it was surprisingly good sound quality considering.

Previous to the SC's, I had a '59 bassman RI. It sounded horrible on an iPhone recording.

Traded the '59 in because the sound traveled through walls too well. The SC is a lot of fun at living room levels. The '59 is magical but the SC is a "better" living room amp for my purpose.

I have a canon 7D, iMac, a mixer and an audix i5 mic but I haven't ever put it all together and recorded video because I haven't taken the time to figure out how to sync the audio and video.

Usually by the time I set up a huge pile of gear like that I've used up all my available playing time! :P I'm gonna try for a iPhone vid this weekend.

That looks like a YES to me!

BTW, I found this link that you might get a kick out of:

http://www.fendersplendor.com/Bullet_Pr ... Gauge.html

I did some work on recording to the Mac with a mic and somehow developed a buzz. It is either something in my living room or loose in the amp. It sounds like it is in the SCX2 speaker but I've been fooled before.

What would be a good mic position to try and capture the sound of all three speakers at once with one mic? Even when I move back, I think that I'm really just getting primarily one speaker.

Here is the fix to the buzz I found.

The speaker board is loosely set in a groove unlike the SD that is screwed into place.

Simply put 4 screws between the cabinet and the front board and it will seriously help the sound.

Here's a new vid I just posted this morning... not a tutorial or demo of any sort, just a little jam vid. I was on channel 1 for this one.

I did a little tweaking to the SuperSonic Channel after someone had suggested it and am finding it more to my liking. Also, the Bassman/LP combo sounds pretty nice too... these are such fun amps, you can always find something new and great sounding by experimenting with different guitars and amp settings.

Anyhow, enjoy!
