Recently got my X2 – already have a Super Champ XD combo – but decided to opt for the X2 head and play through my Behringer monitor speakers and/or headphones. My gear never leaves the house so I am not really able to discuss anything with people face-to-face and rely on internet forums for info, particularly those like this one dedicated to the product I have purchased. I bought my X2 on a two-week, “see if you like it or return it”, offer from a UK dealer. I have not returned it and it is a keeper.
I generally only play Shadows instrumentals – Apache etc (for the uninitiated “The Shadows” is a UK group formed in the late 50s early 60s and still going strong on the occasions they get back together now). I am finding it very interesting using the Fuse software to obtain different sounds over and above those contained in the basic amp and I have also recently acquired a Zoom G5 so I can tweak sounds even further. My main guitar is a custom strat NOS 56.

So all tips and comments are extremely welcome!

right on man. Ive never been a forum guy before but i figured since its here i may as well get the most out of my SCX2. I really dig the amp alot. I feel like Im just beginning to dig into it. I jumped on a couple of the models right away and didnt mess with the others but now im starting to explore some of the other amps. Also did my first effects edit and store to the amp (wet reverb) .Ive jammed with it about four times with drummers and have gigged once with it (i put a live clip link in other forum). Live i run a Tech 21 power engine 60 through the line out for extra volume and I find this combination is AWESOME. basically just takes the great tones from the X2 and makes them a bit louder. I mainly play a knockoff tele and have just been enjoying the hell out of the setup. looking forward to sharing tips and info with other users.
cheers

Hi Guys,

Thanks for taking the time to post here about your new Fender SuperChamp X2s. They are very cool amps. These new SuperChamps take what we did with the Fender SuperChamp XDs, and adds a fresh set of models (Voices) and adds support for Fender FUSE, which of course allows you to customize your 16 Voice settings and 15 FX settings and save them to the amp. You also get the added benefit of a USB digital output for recording use with the Fender Universal ASIO Driver (Win) or via Core Audio (Mac). Please let us know if we can assist with anything.

Cheers,

Just purchased the Super-Champ X2 head and Super-Champ 112 cabinet...will have them the first week in February. Looking forward to playing through them, and learning to master all the functions and FUSE software.
This forum is gonna be of great help to me.
Thanks one and all.
