Hi, I bought a superchamp x2 head/box recently and am really happy with it. The fuse software is working without issues. Now I want to look into doing some recording via the usb stream. Do I need Ableton or Amplitude to do this or can I use any DAW?

I registered my amp on the fuse site and it shows up in my profile (with the serial number) but there is no 'redeem' button shown. Is the X2 not elligible for the third party software? If not, how do I record the amps usb output?

I installed the fender ASIO driver but it doesn't seem to do anything. When I right-click my volume icon (i'm using windows7) and go into recording devices there is nothing usb related listed.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Scull,

First of all, I am happy to hear that you are digging the amp. I really like this one myself. It is a bit different than some of the other Fender amps in th Fender FUSE-connected product line. One difference is that it does not include third party software. However, you can connect your amp directly to a Mac using Core Audio or a PC using the Fender Universal ASIO Driver (http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... sio-driver) and use the amp with most compatible DAW software. Please let me know if I can assist further.

Thanks for your reply, I got it working with the ASIO driver and my chosen DAW. All good.

There are those of us who own bronco and mustang amps (raises hand) and then purchased the very sweet SCX2. Nice how that worked out.

Well, I have a 2011 AS Telecaster and a 2012 MP Jaguar. I love the strap that came with the Tele, very comfortable. Having one for the Jag would be nice. :D

Oh yeah, English usage. You wanted to use the possessive word "your" instead of the contraction "you're". It happens, I do it sometimes, but I usually proofread and edit myself to maintain my dignity as an old fart. I did have a friend named Jorr. He died. :(

I probably blew all chances of getting a free strap with my impromptu grammar lesson. My sense is there was never a strap in the offing anyway. Bad precedent would be set and the bean counters would need to change their nappies.

Hi modwiz,

Thanks for the impromptu grammar information. That is a first here. In any case, I would not be able to provide you with the requested swag. However, as stated previously, you are welcome to contact us in the future with any additional support requests.

OK. I would like a schematic for the SCX2. In the meantime, how close is the schematic for the SCXD? The one I have gave an output of 20 watts. I may be a poor schematic reader, I am, but it looked like I saw (2) 12AX7WA preamp tubes in the schematic. Any help would be appreciated.
