I posted this in Fuse forum to no avail. Sent several requests into support to no avail (just sent me general fuse links that don't address the problems).
Here's one of the e-mails I sent them:

Please direct me to a tutorial in case I am not doing this right. On my newly purchased X2 and recently downloaded Fuse program and after updating the firmware, am unable to get effects to save in individual voice settings. Sometimes after saving, it will save in that particular voice setting and in another voice setting as well or in all the voice settings, or does not save at all. For instance tremolo, I put it in slot #7, hit top left save, then go to another number , say #9 voice setting to put a different effect in that. If I put chorus in that one and make sure tremolo has not went in that one, hit save, then go back to #7 I find it is changed to chorus also. It's even happened that I then discovered all 16 voice settings had been changed to chorus. Numerous times after saving, I go out of Fuse and test the settings to discover it hasn't saved at all or what I saved in one voice number has also saved in another voice number. Additionally, I've pressed tap for 4 seconds to factory reset and discovered many changes previously made were still there, like how I had accidentally renamed or reassigned different effects to the f/x knob and renamed names on the voice knob were still there. Do I have a lemon? And if so, how should I proceed to resolve this? Super Champ X2 serial number M1706714 purchased in Canada from Central Music.

I'll add this, that in the beginning I was trying to hit any button that said save on the fuse screen, individually or several save buttons, trying in different order. Then I tried just using the save button, top left. Nothing I tried has made any difference to this point yet.

So I guess I'm finding out what a lot of you may already know; Fender support just got back to me and said they are letting Fuse fall in the crapper, so they're not going to help me, even though the amp is brand new. I either accept it as is or pay for shipping to get it returned where I purchased from. My feeling about Fender just went down about 100 percent.

Haven't heard Fender is "letting go of Fuse"...I don't see how they can with so many Fuse ready Modeling amps out there in the hands of their consumers (I have a SCx2 and Mustang).
If it's true...I'll bet it's because they're concentrating on their FAILURE they call "Fender Play". I was solicited daily (some times multiple times a day) via email, to purchase Fender Play---until I unsubscribed and blocked them. I know how to play!

To be honest, I have no idea how successful Fender Play (service) is...but I DO know that if something is selling well, companies stop trying so hard to shove their products down our throat.
