Hi All,

Just picked up a used Super Champ X2 (my second one, sold one and regretted it...) and I think it has some issues. Other than the issues, tone is wonderful!

First, the USB defintely doesn't work. Compared side by side to my friend's SuperChamp and his will connect to Fuse and mine won't. Same laptop, cable, etc.

Second, Channel 2 is much quieter than his amp. The CH1 voices are similar volume (and loud), but all Channel 2 voices have a severe volume drop compared to his amp. I can have the amp on 7 or 8 volume and it's not very loud, his is very loud at these levels.

A few questions:

I'm assuming it's still under the 5 year transfferrable warranty...but I don't have a receipt. Any chance in getting fixed under warranty? Fender reps, can you help me?

Also, anyone had similar problems. I know the USB is a common problem, but the jack seems intact. I have not disassembled and checked the solders. More concerned about the low volume. I did a factory reset as well, but problems still persist.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try a factory reset first, it might help. The USB jacks aren't the most robust. It could be broken.

tried the factory reset, no dice.

Anyone have any experience with channel 2 being way lower volume than channel 1?

Thanks.

Connect to Fuse and check the various levels for each voice
