Is there an easy way to adapt so that input is switched directly to the tube part of the amp bypassing all the ics ?

This amp is 80 % solid state ( IC's ) . You can't bypass IC's, amp won't work.

With lots of mod you can buy a tube preamp and plug it to tube phase inverter circuit.

Mod will cost more than buy a good tube amp

Thanks
I am planning to do the mods myself - just trying to get advice how the tube part can be separated reversibly so that the amp essentially becomes a power amp - that I am guessing will not need much modification. I have guitar effects already that I could use for preamp.

Too long to explain, sorry.
And need electronic skill and experience.

I have electronic skill and experience - if you refer to the schematic should be possible to say what has to be done

I am finding it hard to understand the point. If you have electronics experience why don't you just build a tube power amp.

Yes you do find it hard to understand that seems to be the case all through this thread - thanks for nothing and if you can't help - don't respond would be best.

OK
So after downloading teh service manual I managed to identify teh exact point where the signal enters the tube part of the amp. It is at thru Capacitor 64 and resistor 26 . The test voltage there is 575mv

So if I break in at that point and wire in another input socket which would disconnect the output from the solid state part when plugged into, then I should be able to use this as a direct input for any preamp

Manual is at

So what do you need us for, then?
Just to have a place to make yourself feel superior?
While you take a crap on others who whose good intentions try to steer you away from the idiotic project you are hellbent on doing?
Despite all good sense and logic?
You should get yourself a social media account.
Those places are chock full of people who behave like you do.
You'd blend right in.

I had a question - and in the mean time found a solution which I thought was worth sharing.

Why are you turning it into a personal thing and by 'us' who do you mean - are you the police representative of everyone in this forum?

You need to do some self assessment of your antisocial attitude - or maybe get a life of some sort other than hating on posters for goodness knows what reason. Hope you find a better goal in life than you seem to have here.
Maybe join facebook :D :D

By us I meant we as a forum.
This is a community.
Why did you ask the group for answers if you don't like those answers and/or don't like people wanting clarification about your clearly questionable ideas?

It was you who made it personal first.
That was the reason I commented in the first place.
If you had not done so, I would have been content to simply ignore you.
You made this snarky comment to someone who was simply trying to be reasonable with you.

That entire post is objectionable.
First you intimate the people here are stupid for not understanding and agreeing with your idiotic idea.
Then you get pissy.
Go ahead with your unwise project.
It's your time and your money.
Just don't expect the reasonable people of this community to not notice.

You are a waste of time
You do not represent the forum, there are no complaints from anyone else because there is nothing to complain about
Your post contains blatant lies and distortions
