I turned on my Super Champ X2 last night, and the volume was almost non-existent. It was fine the night before. It's three years old, and it's been getting a lot of use the last six months. I suspect a tube has gone out, so I ordered a new set of tubes last night. Hopefully that's all it is.

While waiting for the tubes to arrive in the mail, I'm using my Mustang. That also tells me the guitar and cord are good.

I recommend you take it to an authorized Fender service center to have the new tubes biased. I've read that Fender biases the tubes cold at the factory, which explains how yours lasted 3 years under heavy use. 1 year (or less) is what I'd expect under heavy use when biased to spec.

The amp doesn't get heavy use, just more use lately. I put in a new 12AX7 and all is fine again.
