Do the amps sound closest to their intended voice with the factory presets or is it necessary to change the sag and bias in the advanced amp settings as well setting the mids on the tone stack. If so what have you found to be the most accurate settings to emulate a particular amp. I am most interested in the tweed and blackface amp tone.

I have ordered this amp, but have yet to receive it...so I can't yet tell you from experience myself.
However; I have been reading, and reading threads in this forum (to gain usable knowledge for when my amp arrives), and you will find answers going both directions.
Some say the factory pre-sets are "spot on" to the amp they are emulating...and others have said they have come much closer by "tweeking" the setting with Fender Fuse.

Others will be along to give you more of their actual experience...but I'm afraid you're gonna have to be a little patient because I have noticed there isn't much action in this particular forum. I suppose once the amp becomes more popular (yes I know it's been around since 2012) there will be more discussion on it. Plus you have the "old school" guys/gals here that are not interested in (or afraid of) voicing and/or modeling amps---which is perfectly fine too...not everyone is gonna be interested in the same things.

I, myself, am interested in not paying $2,000.00 for a "one trick pony"...but that's just me.

Thanks for your input. I am sure you will enjoy your amp. It cover's a lot of tones. I looked around the Super Champ forum a little and didn't see a lot of specifics on this topic. Ill keep looking. Thanks again!!

For whatever reason, this Super Champ forum isn't very active. I like to think it's because the SC owners are too busy playing instead of writing. It was more active a coupe years ago when I bought mine, but it's never been as active as the Mustang forum. Let us know if you find what you're looking for.

Depending of the voices, some need some tweaking other not. Depending too of the sound you have in your head for a given amp. So the '70British can sound close of SuperLead, Superbass, or JTM/Bluesbreaker depending of your gain/bass/treble settings and fine tuning in Fuse.

You’ll need to go into the amp settings via fuse and adjust the mids. For some crazy reason, most of the amp voices have the mids set at 9 or so. The nice thing about this amp is the eq dials make a significant difference. Turn the mids down to your liking and the ton will improve a lot.

Also if you like a higher gain you can tweak the bias and drive the tubes more in the advanced amp settings.
