I have a question about the mid settings on my amp, If I turn down the mid's from the preset 9+ to about 6 or 7 will it give more headroom and stay clean at higher volumes? I am relatively new to electric amplification and eq's? Need some help on this from the experts!

Can't answer as to more headroom. I set the middle at 6 to 7 on all of my presets. I just like the tone better that way. I typically don't play at load volumes, rarely above 3.5 or 4.

Same here, I have it set usually at about 4 on the clean channel and various on channel 2. Do you use reverb or chorus in the fx's? I seem to cater to chorus + Dly, how bout you?

Usually just touch of reverb and nothing else. I tried the multi-tap delay one time. Got a nice "Ventures" tone with it. I use channel 1 some, mostly channel 2. I like the Deluxe Reverb voice best. Another good one is the Jazzmaster with a cab sim of 2x12C.

Tweak and listen, and re tweak and listen, and on and on. It took me several tries to get mine to exactly where I wanted it. Fooling with different cabinets on Channel 2. On channel 1, I set the mids, mid way and in different places on the channel 2 amps. I mostly used the Super Sonic #13 with the twin reverb 2-12 cabinet.

Been getting along great with the software lately and the amp is absolutely great, Ive been hearing some real changes in my tonal preferences.

I'm still waiting on my Super-Champ X2, so I've yet to tinker with it...but this brings up a good question.
You make it sound like playing Chorus & Delay together is an option...so is playing Chorus & Reverb an option (without a pedal for one or the other) as well?

I have a Delay AND a Chorus pedal...so I have options in front of the amp...but if I didn't have to use the pedals, it would be a plus for me.

P.S.- Never really been much of a "Delay" fan; but I use Chorus and Reverb a LOT of the time I'm playing.

Chorus is a "modulation" effect, delay is a "delay" effect" and reverb is a "reverb" effect. The other (4th) effect is "stomp box", overdrives, etc. You can have one of each of the four effects combined in a single effects slot. And there are 15 effects slots, pre-programmed, that you can change to whatever you want, And yes, your custom setting can be saved to the amp. Once you get the amp and connect to Fuse, it will make sense. It's a very easy amp to customize and very easy to use after you set it up just the way you want. Now that I have mine programmed the way I like it, by using the Fuse features, I rarely connect to a computer or Fuse anymore. It's an amazing amp, but you really have to use it to understand that. The power of this amp's features just don't come across by reading about it. You're gonna love it.

That is good news pdawg...I appreciate it. I'm pretty excited to get this thing and mess around with it.
Reading this forum and absorbing the information, I don't feel like I'm going in blind with all the options this amp and software has.
