I just received my new Super Champ X2 HD w/ 112 cab a couple of days ago. So far after playing around with it over the weekend, I am VERY impressed . It is all I have read about and more, I was looking for a low watt practice type tube amp to record etc, I was never interested in any sort of digital effects or modeling but now I'm starting to like it. A very cool little amp for sure!!

I've had mine (combo) almost 2 years and love it. If you haven't gotten Fuse loaded up yet, do it. That really opens up the features of the amp. Loads more controls and effects, speaker cab simulations - you can spend a whole day just playing with the different features. I've tried the USB recording, just to see how it works. Very easy, connected to a macBook anyway. One of these days I want to dig deeper into the recording stuff.

This isn't a very active forum, for some reason. Not sure why, as most people that get a Super Champ really like them.

Congrads on the purchase, may you have many years of tonal bliss with it. I miss the portability of the X2 I had and sold. It was a great little grab and go amp for road trips etc.

Just played mine yesterday with my Duesenberg Starplayer TV on Princeton (gain 4,5) + Overdrive (max vol and gain around 1 o'clock) + and a touch of reverb & delay... Working (melody and improvisation) on Louis Armstrong "What a wonderful world"
Sounded magical, lot of sustain, dynamic and singing light drive sound, perfect for that kind of music. By the way, it's my "nearly play all" sound: from blues to classic rock (nice crunch on rhythmic).
I hope you'll have lot of pleasure with your and find settings to your taste.

I jumped into the" Fuse" last night, trying to get familiar with it and so far so good. I tweaked and found some really nice tones that I saved. Then I discovered the band tracks and had a blast messing with that also. I know there is still a lot to discover and I am looking forward to it !!

Hmmmm, band tracks. Maybe you can teach me something here. I've played backing tracks through my Mustang 1 (computer's audio out to the amp's aux input) while playing my guitar through the Super Champ. Can you play band tracks on the Super Champ while also playing your guitar? I've never looked into it, as I had the other option. It would be easier to only use one amp, if it works like that.

Does the band track come out through the amp or through the PC/Mac speakers? The SCX2 doesn't have an aux input like the Mustangs have.

The track sound does not come out through the amp.

I use a windows 10 tablet for my Fuse and run it through a Bose sound dock, I get a great sound through the Bose with plenty of volume.
