I have a new Super Champ x2 head paired with the matching SC112 cab...My question is, can I add another SC112 and run my amp with both cabs?

The cab is a 8 ohms speaker. If you head have a 4 ohms speaker output you can use 2 cabs.

I've just purchased the Super champ X2 head and I had the same idea. So called fender today to verify if I could use a second SC112 cab knowing that it would bring it down to 4ohms. And they told me that there was know problems adding, that as long as your going down in ohms. But not to to go up like 16 ohms. Now i run all my PA speakers daisy chained which brings them to 4ohms per side on stereo amps and they dont have any ohm selector switches of any kind. Every thing I've read on PA power amps that when you daisy chain and run 4ohms it increase the power. Now when I asked Fender about that they told me that I would get 15 watts per cab, now what does that mean, I don't know but I wish someone could answer that qustion. Now to pass some Information that I required through fender,if you use the amp and run through a board to record you have to have a 8ohm load on the speaker output because it is a tube amp. So I've purchased a 8ohm load resister and attatched a 1/4 plug to it. Now when I want to run directly into my board I plug in the load resister into the speaker output and use my headphones off the board to hear and record my sound.
