While this is usually good advice, it does not answer my question at all. I am hoping a FENDER Moderator would at least answer this after it has been posted for a week. If not at least someone that knows the answer hopefully would post a reply.

Sorry to say you'll be waiting a LONG time for an actual Fender representative to come here...they all disappeared ages ago. There's no doubt a member here will have your answer---just have to wait.
What I was trying to say is, if the amp is working the way it's supposed to why mess with it?

Have you tried the "Search" feature above? I'd be willing to bet money this question has already been asked and answered.
See if your answer is here: https://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?t=102771

I get it. Your message was taken the way it was intended. The reason I even consider a firmware update is sometimes they actually improve the amp models via firmware updates and the lack of a Midrange Knob in hardware has me adjusting things thru FUSE. If they have changed the basic sound in Firmware I would prefer to do that as long as it does not BRICK my amp.

Install the Fender Fuse software and connect your amp with the USB cable that came with the amp. You'll find the firmware version inside Fender Fuse. And, you'll discover how to modify the default models and effects. Besides modifying the current settings, you can replace a model with something you created custom. It's really quite cool and powerful.

I recommend going easy on the compression, as anything you do with gain will provide natural compression.

You can easily restore the amp to it's factory default settings, so Fender has opened the door to experiment all you want.

ENJOY!!
