REMUDA Version 1.4.1 was just released in both the Full and Lite versions.

This update introduces a Direct Mode Favorites feature for handy auditioning and editing amongst several Favorited Presets. Also new are the Backing Tracks Player for Songs in Performance Mode; Color Direct Mode Preset indicators for Mustang I/II models; Improved Legibility FX Bank button graphics; and Version/Build Information on the Settings screen. Overall Speed and Performance has been noticably improved for some Android Devices. Support for the EXP-1 Expression & Volume Pedal is in the works and due out soon. Help Documentation is being prepared too!

Cool! Will be watching for the EXP-1 support, to fix the "volume is at 100% when switching to Expression mode" issue. Although this seems like something Fender should address, I have about given up on them doing anything with FUSE anytime soon. Fender, please prove me wrong......

Previously, all EXP-1 Configuration Options and Settings had to be done w/ FUSE. As one of the previous Mustang Firmware updates brought these EXP-1 Pedal Configuration Options to the Mustang's onboard Firmware (accessible via the Data Wheel Menu), when and if Fender were to address this, it would likely be both via a Firmware and FUSE update.

As Fender passed on making any FUSE nor MUSTANG announcements at the recent NAMM show, their silence continues....

Music law .. you wouldn't be the actual developer of Remuda, would you?
You sure put a lot of time into promoting it.. not that that's a bad thing, it looks pretty good. I just don't use a smart phone!

No. I am not the developer.

I am a user of the software since discovering it last Summer. As a multiple device Android user and owner of two Mustangs, I have been in frequent contact with the developer and contributed feature suggestions and improvements. I use it extensively. Mostly on two tablets, as well as my smartphone.

The more well known to Mustang Owners the software becomes, the greater the developer's incentive to expand the features and improve the product. This benefits us all. I have no financial interest in the software. I gladly purchased it just like any other user might.

Thanks for the clarification and your continued input.

Thanks, guys!

I can share that the Developer is very responsive to input and suggestions.

I encourage everyone using Remuda to contact the Developer to contribute improvement and feature suggestions to enhance the software, and let him know if you are having any issues.

Initially, my large 12.2" Samsung TabPro Tablet (one of my three Samsung units TabPro Tablets 8.4" & 12.2", and a Galaxy S4 Active Smartphone all running the same OS) was unable to run USB Host mode correctly. Each time it was connected to the Mustang, Remuda would stop. By contacting the Developer he was able to resolve the issue.

As the Android market is so diverse, and numerous variations exist amongst different devices from the same manufacturer, the more input he receives the better.

REMUDA Version 1.4.2 is now available in both the Full and Lite Versions.

This release brings EXP-1 Expression and Volume Pedal support for Mustang III/IV/V and Mustang Floor, and preliminary support for the Mustang Floor. Also new are Plus/Minus buttons to parameter edit controls for fine adjustments; a simple Help Screen for getting started; support for External Storage permissions required on Android 6.x; Amp Firmware info reported in the App's settings screen; and, several User Interface improvements

MIDI Appendix starts on page 10 of the Mustang Floor Advanced User Manual

Thanks for the link. Are you sure that spec applies to the Mustang combo amps as well?

No, the amps do not have MIDI support.

That's what I thought. Not having MIDI control capability really cripples the Mustang combo amps. I have all the floor pedals and end up dancing my feet off trying to keep up with song changes.

I can well understand why it's not a built-in feature, but I'd gladly pay for an external MIDI <--> Mustang converter that presented a command set as outlined in the Mustang Floor manual. But, from what I gather, this product is at end-of-life and I'm not going to hold my breath. Too bad, because it's by far the best tube emulation I've heard short of an Axe-FX or Kemper Profiler.

Surely you noticed there are no MIDI ins or outs on the amp? Image
