Jack H,

Thanks for your inquiry. There is no app for the Fuse software for Android phones or tablets. Please continue to monitor the forums about changes and let us know if we can assist you further.

Best Regards,

Thanks. I don't have a laptop and where my amp is in my house it's too far from the pc for the cable to reach. I have a Mustang 1 so it's not a big deal to move it to the pc for connection. But if I could have run the software from my phone or tablet that would have been easier. Also, if I were to go anywhere I could have the phone with me. Anyway, I'm looking forward to checking the software out and how it works. Never used it before.

Hi Jack.

I'm looking for android Fuse app myself.

I found "Remuda" app from "Triton Interactive ".
I have searched feedbacks before buying app... but found none. So i'm still looking feedbacks before spending any money... if you decide to buy... let me know if its ok.

link to playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tritoninteractive.remuda

Well.. re 'Remuda app' - that's weird.. only one link anywhere on the internet to it.
The screen shots on their page don't work and it says it's version 2 yet no one has mentioned it here.
Odd ! I'm not going to be first try it, but no reason it shouldn't work.

In the Google Play Store it indicates that the app doesn't require ANY special permissions. Not even internet access which it really shouldn't need anyhow but some apps request it in order to display ads or for really bad apps to perform other malicious activities. So, based on permissions, in theory this app should be fairly safe and well behaved. The app requires Android version 3.0 or higher so I can't load it on my phone which is 2.something. The screenshots on Google Play look very promising. And some of the features that the app claims to have are ones that fender really should have provided in the fuse software like for instance the ability to reorder presets by drag and drop (shame on fender's programmers for not providing this simple and much needed feature). It also says it remembers your preferences for each effect's settings so that when you add a new effect to a preset it is automatically added with all your favorite settings.

All we need now is a brave volunteer to load it up and give it a try. Hey I might even get a new phone with Android 3.0 or higher if it works so I can finally use my phone to control my Mustang amp. Any volunteers?

I even made a drag and drop thing to reorder the presets myself in php and javascript - wasn't that hard to do. I just never made it anywhere near a finshed thing to give out!

This is really a big part of why I ended up returning the MI and exchanging for a MIII, but truth be told, once you get the presets how you like them, most people rarely do much changing, so once you get a few presets setup on your amp, you probably wont need to worry about the computer connection anymore. YMMV

I just typed a somewhat lengthy post here and I did something wrong I guess because I don't see it now. While I'm sure what I typed was extremely important I don't think I have the energy to type it again. :) Is there a way to retrieve what I typed once I've closed the window on my pc? On another forum I've used you can do that but it's dependent on the software I think.

PS
One thing I asked is about restoring one preset back to my amp instead of restoring every preset at the same time using the FUSE software. How do people put up presets on the internet so others can get them? Seems like if that's possible I could save one on my amp then put it up so others can get it and that preset could act as my backup. Then could I just restore that preset instead of all of them?

Looking at the manual's on line it appears some of the options on other Mustangs are not on my Mustang I. I know what the guys at Fender did. They made several models each with features another amp doesn't have. They may claim that was to offer an amp to those who don't want to spend as much money. But they also know that people who get the MI they will start drooling over the other amps and get one (or more) eventually. :D This is perfectly ok. Everyone can be happy. Right now I've VERY happy with this Mustang I. When I bought it I didn't do any research to what amp to buy. I walked in the store to get a small amp that would give me volume from my elec. guitar. It wasn't till I got home and started playing with this thing that I found out what it was capable of. Of course now I'm drooling over the other models. :D

I've thought about this. I'm learning to play rock right now and while the larger selection of sounds may benefit me later right now I don't need them. For me 3 presets is fine. One completely clean, one with some reverb and one with a very distorted sound. I have those set up now so I need to practice playing the guitar instead of playing with presets. :)

Google Play App Store shows the software is version 1.0! It is designed to work with Mustang v2 models.

The screenshots are visible! They show what looks to be a well thought out & functional UI.

I might just have to get an OTG dongle and give this a try!

I just looked at the link that Lenny007 posted. It says it's only for the Mustang II amp. I have the Mustang I. But the manual for my amp is titled Mustang I/II. I have the V.2 model. So, I'm not sure this will work on a Mustang I. I already have the USB adapter so I won't need to spend anything other than the $7.95 for the app. But I don't want to spend a penny unless I know it will work on my amp. Although, if I spend the $7.95 and it won't work that is just an excuse to get a new Mustang II amp. :)

jack...it says it's compatible with v2 mustang amps. that would include all models...I, II, III, IV and V. You are confusing the model number with the version number.

Jack, take another read. It says Mustang v2 models! So, you should be good to go.

Do post back your findings should you opt to try the software...
