Seems like it would be fairly easy to make the 'Stang amps in head versions. I'd buy the big feller (100W) if the head wasn't so daggon big. Guess it's a matter of esthetics and consumer expectation of bigger = better eh? I'd like the extra controls on the III, IV and V but no need for more htan the 40 watts from my II. Just a thought for the good folks in product development. Thank you for listening.

I like the idea of a lower powered amp with the iii and iv features.

I would also very much prefer front panel controls! I hate top facing control panel.

Have you considered a G-DEC 3 Thirty?
It has most of the features the Mustang III and IV offer and a few they don't and is only 30 watts. It works very well with Fuse and sounds really good.

I've seen several MV user's position the MV head with its front surface on the bottom to get the Controls facing forward. Fender FUSE running on a Netbook, Laptop, Windows Tablet, or a full screen all one PC, or a Mac are also workarounds. REMUDA running on an Android Tablet or Smartphone is another way to go.
