So as not to disturb others at home I often use headphones with my MIII. However, the wire gets in the way and limits my mobility. To get rid of the wire I bought a bluetooth transmitter and some wireless headphones to use with my MIII.

Took a little bit of effort to figure out how to get the transmitter and headphones paired but I finally got it working.

Unfortunately there is a significant delay in the audio. The delay is significant enough to make the setup completely unusable. So the bluetooth transmitter is sitting in a drawer and I gave the headphones to my daughter.

I am open to suggestions if anyone knows of a better way to setup wireless headphones on a guitar amp.

Just use old-fashioned analog (non-bluetooth) wireless headphones.

How will they pickup the headphone output from the amp?

Transmitter plugs into headphone jack on the amp. The headphones are the receiver.

Cool. I didn't know that these were available with the transmitting unit.

Thanks for the tip.

Cheers,

Yup. They predate Bluetooth by at least a few decades.
