If you use an Amp Stand, Legs, or Wedge to Elevate or Lean Back your Mustang Amp, what do you use? And, what is your Mustang Amp model?

We use Musician's Gear tripod amp stands for the Mustang III, Mustang IV, and the Fender Rumble amp in our band. Here's a link to the specific stand:

Thanks for the tip! This looks like a good design, and has several favorable reviews.

I also use one of these,

the mustangs are not heavy, so it's a good option. but it's sturdy and will hold any amp with out problems.

(i also have a gibson goldtone ga30rvs which is 90 freaking lbs,, this stand holds the amp without any problems)
One nit,, -- the microphone mounting stop ring will rattle on you. If you're not using it, remove and stick it somewhere for safe keeping

The Musicians Gear version looks the same as the On-Stage RS7500. Does the Musicians Gear version have the (allen key) adjustable Leg Housing Position Lock Ring below the Leg Housing Thumb Knob hub of the main center tube?

I use the Fender kick back legs on my MIV V2. Works great and since they are attached, one less thing to carry.

AB:
Which size Fender Kick Back Legs do you have on your Mustang IV (v2)?
I've seen some installations with the Stop Bolt positioned Higher and Forward of the Pivot Point, and others with the Stop Bolt Lower and Rear of the Pivot Point. How is yours configured?

Mine are 13.5"+/- I installed stop bolt above the pivot point.

So, the drilled through pivot bolt hole, the pivot bolt, and the pivot bolt fastening hardware on the inside are all lower than the electronics deck chasis, Correct?

Correct. Plenty of room with an MIV. I installed them on my briefly owned Champion 100: it took a bit more care to avoid the chassis. I also had the on my Frontman 212r which was more of a challenge, but in all three cases they worked great.

I have four different types of guitar amp stands, but I've been using this MusiciansGear/OnStage tripod stand for a number of years. If you don't need your amp high off the floor, it works great and is about as portable as it gets and it has reasonably good adjustments. I find the upper/boom assembly convenient for bracing my wireless receiver bag, which I generally place on top of my M3V2. My only complaint about this stand is in regard to the thumb knob on the Complete Height Clutch Assembly: the difficult/expensive-to-replace knob has threads that are a softer material than the easily/cheaply replaceable nut---and the knob is not available as a separate item. Temporarily solved with a wing nut.

BTW, the fact that OnStage Stands sells spare parts for their speaker stands is a major reason that I have stayed with them throughout the years. SKB, on the other hand, gets horrified when one of their parts fails and just sends them to you. You never forget great customer service, especially after-market service.

How much Kick Back Angle do you get with your stop bolt position?

Tripod I got from GC for a Mustang I. It's a good overall fit and seems solid enough, given the weight and size of the amp.
