I am looking for a way to wirelessly connect my Mustang V to my PC. I was hoping there would be a wireless usb to usb connection device out there, but haven't found one yet. Is there a usb to bluetooth wireless method that allows me to connect my Mustang to my PC? If there is a wireles usb, I'd like to know about that as well. I just hate having to run a cable across the room to a laptop when my PC handles the Fuze software better.

The ultimate goal for me is wireless Mustang to Android Tablet. If there is a way to do it to iPad, I'd probably buy an iPad just for my Mustang. I love it that much.

I could be wrong, but I believe the answer to all of your questions is "no".

In this day and age, with all the things my phone can do, the answer can not be no. Wireless usb to bluetooth back to usb has to be possible at least. And there is wireless usb to usb: http://www.amazon.com/Cables-Unlimited- ... B0036VNZHA Just it's sold out, used is $129, and the reviews aren't all that good. So there was once one thing out there that did this. I just need to find another that's slightly better.

Currently, I believe Archtop Bill is correct. The Mustang is not set up for this.
Hopefully, Mustang Version 4 will have Bluetooth coverage. Plus a whole list of updates that have been requested over the years by Mustang owners.

It doesn't surprise me that there's something out there like this. Nor does is surprise me that it doesn't work very well. The specifications for USB are pretty dependent on a hard-wired connections in order to work well in the plug-and-play environment which is what it's designed for, and that seems to be at the core of what most of the people were complaining about with this product. That's why bluetooth came along in the first place, to address the wireless need without the overhead of generic device detection and identification. They're similar in some ways, but bluetooth makes a LOT of assumptions about the type of devices it will be interfacing with, while USB does not.

I'm not saying there aren't devices out there that could do this and "spoof" the USB connections into thinking it's hard-wired, but I would think in order for it to work dependably it would have to be fairly expensive and the wireless signal would have to be rock solid in order to meet the discovery, event signaling, and timing protocols of the USB specification.
