i guess that would make a full learning curve to reading english too(PERIOD) (NEW SENTENCE) a lower case letter reads the same as a capitol, after all were not in english class either are we (QUESTION MARK) go troll on another thread!!

He's not trolling you, Icrump2929. Your posts are extremely difficult to read because of your refusal to use punctuation. These guys are trying to help you here but your posts make it very difficult to do so. If you're going to ask for help, at least try to make it easy for others to help you. The reason we take English in school is so that we can learn to communicate clearly.

Now, as for the 4CM method, you should use the Mustang's effects loop in "Looper" mode. The reason there's a drop in volume is because your Pod's output is no longer being amplified by the Mustang's amp model and that's a good thing as it brings you closer to what you're after. Now the next thing to do is to turn off the Cab Simulation by selecting "Bypass" in the Cab Simulation menu page. That should do it. Otherwise, Kidblast is right, you should be using a different amp for 4CM.

And by the way, a Capital (not Capitol) does not read the same as a lower case letter. A capital letter marks the beginning of a new sentence which helps to clarify the idea that you're trying to convey.

anyway, ive got everything running and my amp is set to looper mode. although i cant seem to find the bypass option on the list of amps. the closest i come to a bypass is the studio option

Pressing the Amp button 2x gets you to the Page 2 menu of Amp features for the Amp models. [Note: The Studio Preamp model may not have a Page 2. I'm not at the amp now to check.] For those amp's with a page 2 Menu you will see the "Cab" button. This is for Cabinet Simulation. Set fully counter-clockwise (i.e pointer at the 7 o'clock position) to turn Cabinet Simulation "Off". This essentially eliminates any cabinet simulation from the signal chain. Stated another way the DSP bypasses applying any Cabinet Simulation attributes to the signal chain.

If you have not already done so, take a look at the Fender Mustang Looper PDF in the Support area for the Mustang amps on Fender's website. This PDF diagrams and explains the signal chain and the effect of setting the Util Menu > Looper feature to "Normal" vs. "Looper".

ok i think i have it fixed now. im using the studio preamp and it does have a page 2 and the cab is set to off by default. as for the normal vs looper, it seems to sound alot better if i leave it set to looper. it sounds as if it starts to clip the signal once i turn the master volume up past 3-3.5 when its set to normal. im guessing from what i can see in the pdf of the looper function i should have it set to looper. does that sound right to you guys?
