I'm new here, so I just want to say hello to everyone first.
I purchased a Mustang I v2 this week, and I'm totally satisfied with it. Though my experience with Fuse software was a little...
You know, the old thing, it did not want to work, freezing when loading screen showed up. I have a win 7 64 o.s., and I read everything, I did everything (uninstalling/reistalling Fuse/Silverlight, deleting specific folders, and so on) but I could not get it to work. After two days I was almost dissapointed ( :) ), and I thought: o.k., I give up. Last thing came to my mind: windows update. And that was it. It worked! So anyone still suffering from unable to use Fuse (oh), try this, it can also be a solution. Beside, it's always important to do that. Somehow I unabled "automatic updates", and it seems, this was the problem. So everything is O.K. now, and I am happy with my fully functioning amp! :D
And of course, I have a question, as well.
I have a Focusrite USB audio interface, and it has a line out speaker output.
See here: http://d3se566zfvnmhf.cloudfront.net/si ... rview6.jpg
I connected the device with the amp. I used those outputs and the AUX input on the amp. My question is: is this safe? I am just experimenting with Amplitube beside Fuse, and this way (using the Amp's Pre-Amp), I can monitor the Amplitube software itself. So it works, but is it safe?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Have a Nice Day.

Hello EDrummer,

Thank you for your questions, and yes updating your OS is important for your software to function properly. The setup of running your audio interface into your amp aux in should be fine if it is a line out, but not a speaker out. The image you showed says "Line Out" but if you post the model number we can check with the manufacture's manual to be 100% sure.

Thank You Daniel for the answer.

I'm afraid that's a speaker line out, but here's the model I use: http://us.focusrite.com/ios-audio-inter ... track-solo

I hope you can give me the exact answer.

Have a Nice Day.

Thank you for the link. The Focusrite iTrack Solo user guide says it is an output that needs to go to either powered monitors or an amplifier. So connecting it to the aux in on your Mustang™ I v2 will work. Just remember there is no volume knob on the amp itself for the aux in. You will need to adjust the volume from the device you are connecting. Below is the link to the Focusrite webpage where you can download the user guide if you would like. The information I found on the output is on page 13.
