With a little ZZ Top influence thrown in for extra measure. This is an original song, however. :D
This song uses the '59 Bassman amp model that I customized a few years ago when I was learning, "Born on the Bayou." The vintage tremolo and stereo tape delay effects really sound cool with my Les Paul. My Rickenbacker 4003 bass even has some tremolo and stereo delay on it, although I used a Zoom B3 pedal for that. Everything but the drum track was recorded via USB. The drum track was created by recording a BeatBuddy with a TASCAM Pocketstudio.

There's some nice licks there. Great sound and nice mix. Betcha it would go good with a Carolina BBQ. :D

Here's a song I just finished tonight. It's based on a song I recorded a couple of weeks ago - originally just an acoustic guitar, bass and drum track. I thought it needed an electric lead, but I wasn't having any luck coming up with anything that worked. It finally hit me - the song would be perfect for a brass slide!

I used the same custom preset as I did on Poker Chip - a Bassman model with vintage tremolo and stereo tape delay. The video was recorded as I was laying down the Les Paul track, but I replaced the audio with the final mix-down of the song.
