It's Tuesday night 4/28/15 and I just perused the Fender website and went to the Mustang subdirectory and noticed that the Mustang Floor is no longer listed with the other Mustang amps. What gives??? Have you discontinued the MFloor, overlooked it on the new pages, or is there a new replacement forthcoming at the Summer NAMM? I know...you can't talk about what awaits us in the future. But has the Floor been discontinued?

29 April: Mustang Floor still listed on UK version* of the Fender website; it's the last item on this page:
http://intl.fender.com/en-GB/series/mustang/

which links to the product's own page:
http://intl.fender.com/en-GB/series/mus ... loor-120v/

(although ironically the UK webpage talks about the 120v US version of the product!)

*I really hate the way they've done this; I suspect we're all seeing the same webpage, but they've started using location-specific URLs for everything. This makes it hard to share links with people, and makes it really hard for me to see (for example) the USA pages rather than the "intl/en-GB" pages. If I click the link to "change my location", the whole website breaks (everything becomes "404 not found")

Scott is right, it's on the UK web page, but it's definitely not on the US web page. I poked around under some other links but found no Mustang Floor anywhere.

Most stores seems to have it listed as unavailable or discontinued.
It's only been 3 years since it was released.

I guess it's now a museum piece...
Could be worth a fortune on the vintage market...

Unless they release a 2.0 version with tons of extra features ...
Fender, count me in for an upgrade kit !!!

Thank you all for your interest and input on this thread for the Mustang Floor. Unfortunately, the Mustang Floor has been discontinued.

That's a bit surprising. I wonder if (despite its popularity in this forum), overall sales of the Mustang Floor are low and Fender have decided its no longer worthwhile keeping it in the product range? Maybe Fender feel their strength is in amplifiers so they're going to concentrate on those products instead.

Alternatively (and I hope this is the case), it could be that Fender have simply screwed up a bit, and have ceased manufacturing of the existing unit prematurely, before a replacement unit is ready to launch?

Or actually this could be deliberate, exhaust supplies of the existing product to create good initial demand for a new product. That all assumes of course that people don't go and buy another brand's product in the meantime. Fender hardly have a strong product range in this area (floor modellers and multi-effects units), other manufacturers' products are highly-rated and much more well-known, so I hope the gap doesn't damage Fender too much.

All pure speculation of course, just to pass the time...

Defo a shame.

A good product that was simple to use. Had restricted choices but what it offered was quality. I guess however on paper it lacked the flexibility of other similar floor products. But certainly I prefered it over Line 6 Floor products I have owned.

Looks like the Mustang Mini is gone now, too.

I hope the line is not dropped. Coincidently neither the Floor or the Mini had V2 updating. Perhaps the original versions are being liquidated prior to the introduction of updated models.

At the January 2015 NAMM show, it was good to hear from Fender's representatives that the Mustang amps are their best selling amps worldwide. Although this was not factually substantiated with facts and figures, nor was it part of any official press release, to the extent that it may be true, it is a positive reflection of what we all enjoy with the products' features and price point. I certainly am having a blast with my III and IV (both v2).

I'm also curious to know if they are replacing them with new products. I recently got a Mustang Mini for traveling/practice, and have been having a blast tweaking it via the FUSE software. It got me interested in the floor unit.
