Hi! I'm a latecomer, just got a Mustang III v2. It's awesome! I had trouble getting the audio into Ableton Live 9 Lite. The problem is not Ableton, it's the lack of instructions, etc.
This is what I found out AFTER downloading, installing and authorizing both Amplitube 3 (which is the special Fender version) and Ableton Live Lite 9. I then had to hunt around for this. The info was buried pretty deep, heheh.
These two pages have the info you need, after downloading and installing the Fender Universal ASIO driver... see below or links.

The most important issues:
1. Make sure to download and install the Fender Universal ASIO audio driver, link on this page:
http://www2.fender.com/support/articles ... io-driver/
2. Open the Ableton Preferences, Audio, select Fender Universal ASIO as the Input
3. Click the Hardware Setup button, and Select Mustang as the INPUT on the little hardware config panel. Disable all other Input choices/devices.
4. Enable your audio card for the output, and disable all other audio outs

Then in Ableton, select EXT IN for the source on your audio track.
You should have no problems. You will get the Mustang sound right into the Abletone track.

You can use the Amplitube software with this, but you are then running both the Mustang out, into Amplitube, into your Ableton track. So it's really not a necessary layer, I mean, you can use it, it's up to you.

Good luck!!
